...co-founder, is ‘The Dewy Skin Pro’, a Licensed Esthetics Instructor in SC, and the CEO of dewySKIN Holistic + Corrective Spa, an international award-winning protocol spa.

Jess has invested much of her time and resources into constantly evolving and perfecting her skillset. She entered and participated in multiple categories of The Skin Games 2023 and brought home several trophies.
With over 15 years of industry experience, Jess specializes in layering modalities with a skin health & corrective approach.
RUTH ARMISTEAD
the co-founder of the Skin Summit, earned her MBA in management and marketing. She’s a South Carolina Licensed Esthetics Instructor, as well as a holder of Esthetic Licenses in 2 additional Southeastern states. A 7-time certified microblading and permanent makeup artist, Ruth is always looking to grow.
Trained in both in Asia and the US, Ruth is the owner of Skin & Brows Redefined in the Midlands, a 7-figure business, voted ‘Best Day Spa’ in Best of Columbia Free Times 2022, and recently featured in fig Columbia magazine as a Triple Threat along with Refine Facial Aesthetics and Nouveau Facial Aesthetics.
Ruth specializes in advanced skincare modalities and is certified in many medical-grade, professional skincare lines.
THE SKIN SUMMIT WAS BORN
Ruth and Jess met about a decade ago through TV personality, Alicia Barnes. Jess initially connected with Ruth to gain knowledge on spa equipment. Little did she know, that when she moved back to the Midlands a few years later, she would be interviewed by Ruth at the spa where she was applying. Though their journeys have taken them to different locations, they have remained close ever since!
Jess was on vacation and called Ruth with the idea for them to start an Esthetics Conventions, to which Ruth responded, "You are absolutely out of your f***ing mind... that's a lot of work."

Eventually, the Hickory, NC show shut down, which was the Southeast "it" show, so Jess reached back out to Ruth with the idea, but this time she gave her stamp of approval and said, "Let's do it."
