FOUNDERS
Skin Summit began as a wild idea during a vacation—an idea sparked by Jess, a passionate esthetician with years of experience in the industry. She couldn't shake the vision of creating an esthetics convention that would bring together the best in the business.
Jess shared this idea with Ruth, a seasoned spa owner and expert in the field, whom she had met over a decade ago through a mutual connection. Their friendship had grown over the years, even as their careers took them to different places.
When Jess first mentioned her vision, Ruth's response was blunt: "You are absolutely out of your f***ing mind... that's a lot of work." But when the Southeast's premier esthetics event shut down, Jess knew it was time to revisit the idea. This time, Ruth was on board, and together they decided to turn this dream into reality.
That’s how Skin Summit came to life—a convention born from friendship, expertise, and a shared passion for the esthetics industry.
